    styles make fights, styles make...fights??

We hear this all the time.

But I've noticed from a lot of posters that doesn't seem to matter

I keep reading "so and so" couldn't KO a guy when "so and so" did?!! He's garbage!

Or when a guy struggles or doesn't KO with a fighter that some other beat handily or by KO, nevermind the complete difference in style, they say he sucks or is overrated blah blah

It seems there's fans that reach (to extreme heights) to make some fighters seem worse than they are or make others to seem better than another

Why do you guys think people only say "styles make fights" when its convenient??

the worst part is when *****s say wifebeater doesn't have to fight figther B because he beat fighter A who beat fighter B.

****** *****s, wifebeater can't get credit for fighting fighter B unless he beats them in the ring!

what's even more ****** is when *****s say fighter X is fighting wifebeater's leftovers. dumb ass *****s! styles make fights!

It’s called “triangle” theories and these knuckle heads who post here try to use them to justify a win while discrediting another.

Keep in mind that the bulk of posters here aren’t well schooled in the sport and really just tuned in, if they’re not going on some racist rant they’re talking about your mother only to divert the attention to their inability to understand the sport and fighters/politics involved.

Differences in styles is why you can't really use the "triangle theory".

YES! IT DOES! Considering how Pacquiao's last 6 opponents have been tailor made for his style. What's worse is, the guys who have a SMALL chance of beating him gotta go with catchweights.

Styles make fights though bro right and cutting weight shouldn't matter either right?

Pacquiao dominates Barrera, Barrera wins 2 out of 3 against Morales....Morales beats Pacquiao the first time they fight.

Taylor wins 2 close bouts with Hopkins, Pavlik beats Taylor 2x, Hopkins dominates Pavlik.

Norton gives Ali hell, Foreman destroys Norton, Ali beats Foreman.

"Styles make fights" is true, also in other sports where the styles of the two teams matter....it just tends to get overused when one fighter is clearly levels up from another. "Oh it was the style". No, it was because one guy isn't all that good.
