To degrade Mexican boxing is to degrade what has been a fighter producing country for years and years, an artery pumping new blood in the past present and future of the sport. Some fighters from south of the border were as any common American boxer, some less, some wprse some better. But some of those fighters took their hearts, courage and desire while rumbling upon the world stage and beckened for our imaginations and beliefs. The list would be a long one, of great Mexican boxers.
The sport is seemingly entrenched in their blood and is still promanent in present Mexican culture. The teachings passed from generation to generation by the trainers to students and fathers to sons.........Rockin'
