if the mandatory 8 had finished on time and Steele had let the fight go on Chavez would have had about 7 seconds to finish off the job, getting the TKO anyway.

what people dont realise is that Steele checking on Taylor took about 3 or 4 extra seconds, and then the timer kept going after he waved off the fight, so there was still time left in the match.

too bad it wasnt a 15 round fight, there would have been 0 controversy....

thats fair, although I simply cant ignore Castillos multiple body shots, and I really end up giving him more rounds.
              close fight though.

                    In all of Boxing History,
Who has produced better champions and greater champions
                    Mexico or America?
                    Mexico or African Americans?

                    Just dont do it.

taylor fought like an idiot in that fight. if taylor decided to move & outbox chavez he would have beat him easy. i still had him beating chavez even before the fight was stopped though. i also don't think chavez would have been able to knock taylor out with 8 secs remaining on the clock.......
