Thing is, though, that if Haye genuinely plans to retire in October then he might, just might, be willing to take a slight risk in his last fight. Which doesn't mean that he'll take on a Klitschko of course, just that he won't necessarily fight a complete patsy whose demolition is a foregone conclusion. Maybe I'm being too kind to him though, I don't know.Comment

A Povetkin fight might be decent, but I can't see too many upsides to Haye at this point. Povetkin is almost utterly unknown in the UK, and given his horrible regression as a fighter might not even be able to put up much of a fight at this point. If Haye fights anyone, it's either going to be against Chagaev his mandatory, or a big-name over the hill guy like Holyfield. My guess is the latter.Comment
