I give you the numbers I have about Pacman's PPV numbers. I remember somewhere read a comment that Pac had 12 PPV fights, but I have only 11.

      Pacquiao-Margarito - 1,150,000
      Pacquiao-Clottey - 700,000
      Pacquiao-Cotto - 1,250,000
      Pacquiao-Hatton - 850,000
      Pacquiao-De La Hoya - 1,250,000
      Pacquiao-Diaz - 250,000
      Pacquiao-Marquez II - 525,000
      Pacquiao-Barrera II - 350,000
      Pacquiao-Morales III - 360,000
      Pacquiao-Morales II - 350,000
      Pacquiao-Morales I - 340,000

      Mayweather fights:
      Mayweather-Mosley - 1,400,000
      Mayweather-Marquez - 1,000,000
      Mayweather-Hatton - 1,000,000
      Mayweather-De La Hoya - 2,400,000
      Mayweather-Baldomir - 340,000
      Mayweather-Judah - 400,000
      Mayweather-Gatti - 360,000

That's all information I got. You can see that after De La Hoya fight PPV numbers for Pac and May jumped up to 1 million buys, you call it "De La Hoya Effect".

hey 1st time he showcased that right hook though.

he was tagging velazquez with straight lefts and hector ate it up.

that 1 right hook rocked him and started the end for him.

you have to take into account that pac was up and down though.

looked good against guys like barrera , morales , etc. but awful against solis , larios , velazquez.

maybe it's because he takes them lightly?

now he's always in a big fight so maybe he's more focused?

Those numbers look about right except Judah vs. Floyd did about 360k not 400k.

Also Pac vs. Diaz did 200k or just under and Pac vs. Hatton did closer to 750k then 850k.

Also the final number for Mayweather vs. Marquez was just under 1.1m.

He was way more inconsistent back then for sure but also he just wasn't complete as he was now. The big thing is the footwork, he used to always swing with big shots and be off balance. Now he's just gliding in and out like it's nothing, really crazy transformation for a guy so late in his career.
