A better and more even fight with Pacquiao would be above 140.

Pacquiao at 130/135 was not much different at all from what he is today. Watch some of his fights there....he really hasnt changed much.


Corrales never had the best chin, and his height would only play against him seeing as his body is so big and easy to hit. Pac's speed would definitely be a factor.
his power was nice of course, and I can see him winning some rounds, but Pacquiao would catch him and the tide would turn instantly.

PAcquiao would have facial lacerations and take a fair amount of punishment, but I find it pretty clear he would have beaten Corrales.


now...a prime Castillo vs Pacquiao at 135....I can see Pacquiao losing.

well thats not entirely fair. Castillo was one of the better infighters and better lightweights of the last decade or so, and Corrales was fairly impressive in the Casamayor fights...although personally I also find that Casamayor can be overrated by some.
