the wbc rules do state that the board can vote for an immediate rematch if there was controversy in the fight. i am of the opinion b-hop got robbed, so i understand the wbc position.

let's face it though, tv and successful gate at this level is NOT contingent on having a belt.

i'd rather see pascal/b-hop three more times than pascal-dawson twice. i'm biased, i know...

Doesnt matter what want to see, it matters what is right.

I want to see this fight more then Dawson/Pascal but in no way is this right. Plus they put Pascal is a bad predicament where he gets ****ed no matter right

This is BS the commission is overstepping itself here. Dawson and Pascal have a clear contract for a rematch. Hopkins needs to do the right thing and wait his turn and face the winner.

This fight is more warranted than the Dawson rematch...the rematch with Dawson is an issue of contract outside of the commision.Hopkins should have won the first time they met....Dawson can have Hopkins leftovers again (just like Tarver,Johnson,etc) after he wins his belts and makes history.

WBC did everything what they should of.

They know Hopkins is ****ing 46 years old.. that is why, they want him to give immedeate rematch, Plus rematch with Hopkins will bring on table more $, than rematch with Dawson.

This is BS.. If there was no rematch clause for Dawson, it makes sense, but to force him to break a legal contract is garbage.. But lets not 4got, in purse bids, the champ gets something like a 70-30 split (B-hop will NEVER agree to this), and if Pascals team wins the bid, they pick the location (Canada) .. Again B-Hop doesnt take the fight.. Allowing Pascal to fight his legal rematch!! Then offer B-hop a fair contract (Pascal seems to be a fair guy and will do just this!) So they do have a creative out if they want to make a more just decision!
