There were only 10,000 seats sold for the fight in Vegas. If the fight is done in New York it should easily sell out MSG and would probably do good numbers in the new Giants stadium.

That guy that said only 10,000 seats was sold for the 1st fight is crazy...don't you know how it works in Vegas? They GIVE free tickets to their highrollers to get them to come to town. I was at that fight and that shiznit was almost full. The announced attendance was over 14,000 or for perspective almost as much as Mayweather-Marquez.

The casinos would be happy to get another 12-14k people here for the rematch. The casinos sell some tix and make money off the gate right there plus rooms and food and most of all the ******** and nightclubs. Top Rank doesn't get paid off the attendance. MGM gives a site fee to Top Rank for the fight and MGM keeps whatever money they make off tickets.

You understand? If MGM says I will give you $5million (state tax free in NV I may add) and NJ says we can give you only $4million where do you think the fight will be? NJ for less money plus Cotto and Margo would have to pay NJ state tax from their purses or in Vegas....It only goes back east in most cases if the money is better. In this case it will depend on where Tony gets licensed.....
