      Good question.

I think he wants the big payday, but at the same time he's afraid of being KOed by Wlad.

            No he shouldn't.

There's a possibility that Wlad will lose the fight meaning the fight is less marketable.
There's a possibility that the fight will lose hype coming 8 or 9 weeks after a Wlad bout, think about things, if Haye was to fight 2 months after Audley Harrison buzz would be lost.

There's a possibility that Wlad would postpone the match up due to injury, fatigue and what not, the uncertainty could be detrimental to Haye's training.

Essentially the ball would be left in Wlad's court where he could change the date of the fight, pull out and what not.

Spot on!!! And with Haye being forced to give up 50% of MY money then he had the right to decide when to fight!!!

the chump should face the champ....no matter if the champ wants to spar with another Brit 9 weeks before....the chump needs to stop acting like a lil' b!tch.....he knows he's gonna get KTFO....his actions reveal his thoughts....he's a chinny CW with technichal flaws but to his credit he makes up for SOME of that with athleticism and better than average punching power....still won't stop him from getting brutally KO'd by the champ.....sign the dam paperwork for God's sake!!...dam!!

What more does David Haye want? Just make sure the contract says Wlad on it not Vitali lol.... It is actually an advantage for him to fight Wlad so close after a fight. Wlad could be over-trained. I don't believe Chisora will do much to him in their match. At the end of the day all that matters is that W. 20 years from now noone will remember that Wlad was stupid and had a tune up so close to the fight.

                    FIGHT ON....

Tunney may be all about the Eastern Europeans fighters but he's a solid poster. We argue in more threads than we agree, but to suggest he's secretly one of the trolls that plague the heavyweight threads is silly.
