    BoxingScene.com had been advised that former three time welterweight champion Antonio Margarito has received medical clearance to begin training for his next fight, which may be a rematch with WBA 154-pound champion Miguel Cotto in the summer. Margarito suffered a fractured orbital bone in his November loss to Manny Pacquiao. The former champion has been recovering from the required surgery.

    Oh ****TT already!! He is gonna need a sparring partner before his big fight against Cotto . Mmm.. Maybe a third fight with Kermit Cintron in late March or early April, then Cotto in July or August?

      why would he fight cintron without plaster the cheat aint nothing he will lose to cintron and cotto he will just go straight to cotto for a payday and retire his career is done

          Nah man, Margarito isn't going to fight a tune-up. At least not against a big puncher if he does fight somebody, he's not going to risk losing his next big fight due to an injury.

            cool....he took a beating and I'm glad he didnt suffer some real serious injuries...also, I think its time for everybody to move on as well...regarding that hand wrap issue....just sayin!!
