With every buy, fans contribute to the prospect of other moronic cards such as this. These are programs that take the bread out of the mouths of fighters who truly deserve real fights and financial support. Cotto is still a worthy opponent but should fight real competition.

Adding Christy Martin is a novelty move and an insult to all fistic fans.
Martin gets stabbed, gets some press and at 42 decides to cash in.
Why not just bring back promotor Art Dore and those Toughman cards of years ago.
This kind of crap is hardly much better fare.
Mayorga has the attitude of a pro wrestler and is done.
Cotto has a few bucks left in him.
Arum will make sure he squeezes every last dollar from both of them.
Isn't having Mosely's blood on his hands enough of a disgrace for Mr. Arum.

Martin and Laila are the only female boxers I ever bothered trying to watch. Glad Martin is feeling alright after getting attacked by her guy, but coming back to boxing probably isn't going to go to well for her at this point.

I'm a diehard fan of the sport... and a fan of Cotto... but this is pathetic! Before this anouncement I was willing to dish out the money.... but not to see Christy Martin's sparring session!

Before Ali, Christy is the only good thing female boxing has to offer... That being said, watching Martin fight will bring back memories. I'm just glad she's ok.

Dont forget about Lucia Rijker. She was supposed to have a bout with Martin in 05 but had to pull out due to an injury.
