      you can't knock the skills, but everything else including the selection of opponents and the propensity to avoid tough fights leaves much to be desired.

          His skills. His entertainment value. His persona. He's the villain in boxing, and we don't have many of those nowadays which is why it's been so boring lately.

          As for being a role model for children, he WAS a role model for children. I remember when he used to wear sweaters and glasses in interviews telling kids to work hard, stay healthy and follow your dreams. Then pretty much after he got his PPV debut that's when turning into the bad guy image.

          I'll always be a fan. I don't care for his personal life like all the baby sheep do, when I think of Floyd I don't think of a wife beater, or a guy who pokes security guards. I'll always remember him as Pretty Boy Floyd, the guy who came into the ring and DOMINATED the sport for several years.

                    Becuz he paints masterpieces when he boxes. Not all of his fights, but (for example) the Judah fight, the Mosley fight, the Castillo fight. It's amazing to see him figure his opponent out and make adjustments.
