    Hopkins Vs. Nunn

since hopkins hid out @ 160 when nunn, toney, jones, etc climbed up to 168, how do you think hopkins vs. nunn would have played out had they met @ 160 (after hopkins loss to jones, and before nunn go ko'd by toney)

Nunn would have been a massive problem, hes just the kind of boxer that gave Hopkins trouble. He didn't have that single flaw that Hopkins could exploit and he was a very big middleweight, a good boxer (and a southpaw to boot) with fast hands and feet. I could easily see a close decision going his way.

Nunn seems to have the more fluid feet and is busier, while Dawson is more of a technician with generally more thud on his shots. Its funny because there isn't anyone that i could compare them too, its like they have their own individual style.

Yeah that was pretty brutal. Thats what happens when a fighter gets caught cold and underestimates his opponents power.

The closest Hopkins came to fighting a slick southpaw like Nunn, was Joe Lipsey. Who was basically a undersized green contender. Lipsey gave Hopkins a lot of problems during the time the fight lasted, he was landing left hands at will, which Hopkins black eye showed. Nunn was way better than Lipsey, I can see him outboxing Hopkins to win a comfortable points decision.
