Zab Judah, the man with unlimited title shots

In a day and age where a loss can mean so much in boxing. It doesn't seem to hinder the ability of Zab Judah to continue getting title shots. By my count, with Zab's next bout, it will be his 10th chance at a title despite 6 losses. In addition, some of those title oppurtunities were unification fights, so there are even more belts involved.

What is crazy, is that on more than one occassion, Zab has actually recieved a title shot after a loss.

By comparison, David Tua has only 3 losses, and can be seen as more exciting than Judah, yet only has 2 title shots.

Good promoters mean a lot in this sport.

Juarez has had 6 chances. But to be fair. 2 of those chances were rematches due to the fact that Juarez fought well enough to either draw or lose controversially.

Exactly. And not only that but what type of fighter you are. Zab always appeals to matchmakers because he is skilled and has that potential in him.

A title shot usually means a step up in class for Judah - and a step up in class usually results in Judah getting his arse kicked for all to see.

              So it's not all bad.

Zab is skilled, fast handed fighter and also very well know to the fans. He held titles when he fought Tszyu, Spinks and Baldomir. After that his name helped him to get title shots, but I think that Mayweather and Cotto just wanted to whoop his ass and put his name on their resume.

Zab is much more entertaining all the way around than rocky is.

rocky does one thing all fight, over and oer and over, AND has no personality.

I agree. Zab is much more entertaining. Still, the amount of chances he's gotten is ridiculous.
