Haye is milking this for all it's worth. What is he so afraid of? Wlad has said he will fight on the set day. Haye is sounding desperate.

Then why doesn't Haye fight Chagaev as a tune-up? If he's the fighter people are making him out to be he would surely make quick work of him.

for ****s sake mate this isn't club fighting, this is the very elite level of the sport. This is a high end business deal involving multiple parties with multiple interests and a collossal marketing strategy that plays out over weeks and months. This is prizefighting on a grand scale, there is no place for tune-ups in this equation.

Maybe there is still some hope of this fight being made later in the year (although I'm not confident after hearing Haye on the radio today) but the July 2nd date is toast and the fault for that lays at Wladimir's door.

It's not possible for both fights to be signed for at the same time. By Wladimir signing to fight Chisora, Haye can't sign to fight Wladimir because Haye's mandatory extension stipulates that both parties involved must be non-committed. That's the problem.
