Comments Thread For: Montiel-Donaire: Sulaiman Says Either Can Win By KO

A true clash of titans, says the president of World Boxing Council, Jose Sulaiman, when describing the bantamweight clash between WBC/WBO champion Fernando Montiel and Filipino challenger Nonito Donaire, who are scheduled to face off on February 19 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Sulaiman says either boxer can end this fight with a knockout because of the big power they have in their punches.

WBC Head Sulaiman, is sounding neutral, thats good news, I hope he will be in the Ringside come fight time so he see personally how the fight was done!

But, then, I still pick Nonito Donaire the Fil-Am Slick Boxer! Who can speak English with American accents.

Donaire is a big bantamweight and has speed advantage. He can also box and with good ring intelligence... Donaire is my man in this fight

Winner of this bout must be given #4 or #5 ranking in the P4P list. I favor Donaire in this fight, but Montiel can finish everything with one punch. Nonito gotta be ready for bodypunches.
Montiel is 3-division champion and P4P #7, but he doesn't have big fanbase in Mexico. In boxing world most of the experts go crazy about Donaire, but Montiel with better accomplishments doesn't get much credit.

Montiel knocks him out in 6 Montiel does well against bigger opponents
He got robbed against Jhonny Gonzalez and destroyed Hasegawa in half a round i mention half cause for some reason people mention that Hasegawa was beating Montiel for 3 and a half rounds even though Montiel broke Hasegawas jaw in the first round go figure
