BBC: Haye won't sign for 2nd July?

BBC, Sport, BBC Sport, bbc.co.uk, world, uk, international, foreign, british, online, service

Boente said the earliest date for the fight they could come up with that matched the networks and venue availability was 2 July.

Both sides were willing to fight on that date, Boente said. However, he said that the Haye and manager/trainer Adam Booth refused to allow Klitschko to take the April 30 interim fight with Chisora.

"They would not accept that, but Wladimir was not willing to wait another six months and have it be 10 months since his last fight against Sam Peter [in September]," Boente said.
I'm really hoping this is a misquote or I've totally misunderstood what's been said, but it sounds like the July fight is off because Wlad's fighting Chisora?

My guess is that haye loses more stock losing to chisora than he does losing to Wladimir...or, if haye wins, neither of them want Wladimir having an excuse that he got too old.

Whatever the case, I think Wladimir wins both fights.

The fight is not off in case you're wondering. July 2 is the date which Sky Sports AND RTL have free and willing to pencil in Haye V Klitschko. Wlad wants to fight Chisora to stay busy as his manager stated 'Wladimir was not willing to wait another six months and have it be 10 months since his last fight against Sam Peter'. I don't see the problem of shaking off the ring rust by being active. Seems Haye wants Wlad after Wlda's had a long lay off

You can answer this question on your own, I know you can. Try it, pull - it's a new year. You can do it.

It's Wladimar prerogative to fight Chisora, if that's his wish. If Wladimar was to pull out claiming he can't make the July 2'nd then we can all speculate it was a fishy move to find a way out of fighting Haye.

its not signed because of this.

i dont think it seems realistic that wlad will fight on april 30th and then fight july 2nd.

although haye should sign and pin him down to the date while they can.

                  then fight chageav,or whom ever.

hopefully and ide expect both to win with ease,by early to mid round KO/TKO,so both should be fresh enough if fights are easy before fighting each other.

then if haye won he could still fight late october, asuming he only wins by early to mid round KO/TKO.

Wlad aint gonna get cuts from the Chisora fight anyway. Chisora will get stopped inside 6. So whats the big deal?
