This article is soooo true. Martinez put in his work while displaying patience. Dude should be shown more respect than telling him to beat if he can't get a guy in the ring that is asking for too much money he clearly doesn't deserve. when u look at martinez's entire career. he really hasn't fought all of these tough guys like it's being claimed....the reason i say this is because martinez is almost done with the sport of boxing. he fought pavlik, willams, and cintron. cintron was moving up. willams was overated & can't fight a counter puncher to save his life anyways. & pavlik had just been outboxed by hopkins. martinez can not waste time fighting bums like his nut hugging fans want him to. who will he fight if he doesn't take this fight? cotto is a blown up welterweight & is currently busy. pac & mayweather are both welterweights. you gotta be realstic with this....this is the best fight that could be made for martinez aside from pirog & nut huggers cry about how much they want bums????.......
