Genius move there, HBO, genius. Unknown german never fought in america no one knows who he is or the guy who would have had KO of the year if not for Martinez/Williams.

      Brilliant!

Why are you guys over-hyping Pirog so much?
Over hyping? People want to a see a good fight and a good match up. Pirog is coming off an outstanding KO. Martinez is coming of an outstanding KO. Martinez is the WBC and Ring Middleweight title holder. Pirog WBO Middleweight champion. Makes perfect sense right? Unification bout. Two of the best middleweights duke it out.

Sergei Dzinziruk is a 154 pound fighter who nobody knows. So instead we get the 160 pound champ fighting a 154 pound title holder that no one in the US has ever heard of, never fought on HBO, Showtime or ESPN. There is zero hype.

On top of that, Dzinziruk is a boring ass fighter.

I just don't get this match-up at all. If they want fireworks, Pirog is the man. If they want to low ratings and a boring fight, Dzinziruk is just the guy they are looking for.
