Is it in Vegas, I didn't know that. It would sell big in The Staples Center. Still, there's still time to fight Khan in the UK.

They should do it in Estadio Azteca with El Canelo on the undercard that could bring in close to 100k people. Morales is still loved if I'm not mistaken Estadio Azteta is in el D.F where JMM is from. And, Alvarez has a huge following that they could of brought in 100k or close to it IMO.

And, if they would of done it for May 7 lets say on Showtime in one of their free weekend telecast they probably would have gotten Showtime the highest rating of the year for boxing. Since it would be close to Cinco de Mayo weekend and all the Mexicans and Chicanos here would have watch it and others since it would have been on free TV.

Plus JMM and Morales complete the fab 4 in, Pacquioa, Morales, Barrera, and JMM all fighting each other.

And, like you said there is time for JMM-Khan which I really think will be JMM next fight on Mexican independence day in Sept. It should be in the U.K and all the Mexicans will buy it here on PPV plus you get to sell out a stadium but GBP can't do anything right so they would more than likely have it in the MGM.

I don't think Pac would have been criticized more if he fought Katsidis in Nov @ 135 then what he was for the Marg fight. Pac going 2 divisions lower the fight the #1 rank LW(JMM lineal champ) would have been a more respected fight IMO

Unless you're talking about if he would have fought Katsidis at 147. Then yes I agree.
