He needs time to rest? More like relapse. Spare time is an alcoholics nightmare. Get busy, stay busy, fighting or otherwise. Pavlik showed great courage confronting this demon, I truly believe this maturity will get him through this and make him a stronger better person.

Agreed! Idle hands are the Devil's play toys. Pavlik needs to be boxing. He's already lost. Pressure off. Just do your thing. His style will always be exciting.

I don't know if he'll ever be the same but if he can he'll definitely be a p4p-er again.

i still can't get over what happened to pavlik. I truly believe that, had he stayed the course and continued to work at his craft, he could have been one of the best middles ever.

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum has denied a published report that he offered Kelly Pavlik an undercard spot on a May 7 pay-per-view in Las Vegas, which features Manny Pacquiao vs. Shane Mosley in the main event. Pavlik is leaving the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, Calififornia after after spending two months getting treatment for alcohol abuse. Arum is not going to place any pressure Pavlik to return to the ring. He wants him to get healthy first. Arum says no dates have been discussed or offered.

Thats why he has Roach and Nazeem saying Mosley can win; thats why he promised the 'best show ever,' he's worried about the ppv. Why has he never bothered to put a decent card under Pac before?
