Rate Floyd Jr's Jab

I love how Floyd throws da left hook off the jab. he did that fantastically against Corrales which got him 5 kds. he did it quite well on Mosley too. When he thows that jab it sets up alot of things. u in trouble if he throwing that jab. i mean up jabs, jabs to the body...he does so much off that jab!

he did that perfect against chico didn't he?

with shane, he threw a hard jab that snapped his head back like it was his power punch which is why his left hand is just as effective as his right hand and it was more effective back in the day--

floyd has always been a 2 handed fighter--he didn't have to develop into one like manny, which is another reason floyd's balance and timing with both of his hands are top notch--manny stands no chance man--lol

floyd's balance in the southpaw stance is more effective than many southpaws-lol

He doesn't throw it enough to have a "great" jab, like some people here are saying. I wouldn't call it bad though either.


It has potential to be good, but he hasn't thrown it out there with discipline for years.

He has an excellent jab. He just doesn't really use it his natural ability doesnt mean he doesnt rely on it.

I think if he's still fighting as he ages he will start to use it alot more. Also, if the Manny fight ever happens i think he will use his jab alot in that fight.

I noticed this too. He uses his jab more often ever since coming out of retirement.
