Comments Thread For: Juergen Braehmer Withdraws; Vame Kartveli Shocker

On December 15, I reported on a result from Riga, Latvia, which took place on December 11. In a middleweight fight scheduled for eight rounds - Akilles Adnan, from Stockholm, Sweden and fighting with a Swedish license stopped a fighter billed as Vame Kartveli, also based in Stockolm but fighting with a Polish license, in seven rounds. It seemed to be quite an upset with Adnan, 2-1, beating his more experienced and accomplished fighter - and stablemate.

Yesterday Juergen was "fully focused to win", and today he has an "illness" so severe he can't continue? Sad to say, but illnesses and injuries sound more like "I don't want to fight" now....

                    Exactly.

And, not only that but according to Goosen, Juergen left Kazahkstan without telling anyone.

So yea, his story about illness is kind of hard to buy.
