I wouldn't say that Montiel-Hasegawa was any kind of dramatic. Montiel didn't come to Japan to outbox Hasegawa, he came to KO him. He was figuring out Hasegawa in early rounds, then knocked him out in fifth. It's not like Fernando was losing 11 rounds straight, then in 12th round he KO Hasegawa in desperate attack.
