Can someone answer this? I heard that in one of their fights, Holyfield knocked down Ruiz with a body punch that was ruled a low blow by Joe Cortez. If it were not ruled a low blow, EH would have won by KO.

but im guessen he was able to continue
so if it was ruled clean he woulda just gotten a knockdown -
It was a bull**** call and a call that was made because Joe Cortez was in there to help out his spanish compadre John Ruiz. It was so blatant that Joe Cortez favored Ruiz in that fight and allowed him to engage in his bull**** holding tactics. **** like that needs to be investigated in this sport.Originally posted by FibreOpticCan someone answer this? I also heard that during the first Holyfield/Moorer fight, one of the judges score the round Moorer was down in as 10-10. If that round was scored properly, EH would have kept his title.Originally posted by theirononeHoly dropped Ruiz with a good bodyshot and ruiz pussied out and got a flukey call, Holy should of got the KOComment
