Tszyu was the only thing in between Hatton and the canvas. He had a reputation for being a hard hitter, and now people are goingback on their word after saying (Tszyu KO 1) and saying "oh he had a bad night, oh he was getting illegally hit, oh the ref was on Hattons side, oh the ring wasnt right, oh the crowd/venue was biased, oh Tszyu isnt a quitter (he only quit on his stool but that doesnt count, because its Tszyu and we are all biased in favour of Tszyu)".

**** sake! What happened to all those who were predicting a round 1 KO for Tszyu? Where have all those people gone? Funny how alliances change and how all of a sudden millions of excuses are found to try and make people feel better about the loss.

Simple as, Tszyu said he was on the form of his life, he said that Hatton was a good fighter and he had respect for him, he had no complaints. But a bunch of boxing Guru's on this site reckon they know better!

You lot just spout **** when you talk about Hatton. Its so blatently biased its untrue.

I am not saying any of those excuse except Tszyu did not perform to the level he usually does and ricky did that night anyone who has ever watched Tszyu fight knows that I will just agree to disagree with you because I like you too and respect your opinion too but to me Hatton has more proving to do and Maussa is not what I was hoping for from him with that being said I will still be cheering for Maussa to land that same punch he landed on Harris.

I meant people on this forum have said all of those excuses. I have seen every one of those come up on this forum at least once if not more....

I was hoping for a better fight than Maussa, but the Mayweather **** just aint happening. I actually think that both sides are ****ing it up. I think Mayweather is out pricing himself, and i think Hatton is not feeling ready for the fight yet...

I actually think that Ricky Hatton is a very talented fighter. His style is to fight up close on the inside, rough the other guy up... As the great Kostya Tszyu said after the Shamba Mitchell 1 fight, "Yes I rough him up, why not? It's a tactic". - And it's a good one.

Some people may not find that as pleaseing to the eye as fighting from a distance like say Mayweather or Hopkins, but If you've ever been in the ring and fought guys (myself just on amatuer level), you really appreciate what it is that Ricky does.

What a cowardous move from Hatton. What The MOOSE KO his ass. Two ugly dudes goin at it. Hatton is smart, he will just outbox him easily and not try and fight like Vivian. But if he does try and fight kiss Rickys belt goodbye because MOOSE has a nice chin

Look at who he is looking to fight... Warren would have got him Cotto or Mayweather or Corrales, but now he is going to Maussa. Thats just being a little hobo to be honest.

Plus i wont get to see the fights on terrestrial tele now, which i thought i would because Warren signed that deal with ITV not so long ago. Im pissed!

I don't blam him but now is not the time to piss off your promoter as they will set for him to lose ie VIVIAN HARRIS
