Good to hear he's still on pace to come back.sounds like he mite have found that motivation inside the pen since at first he gained some weight but is now at pretty much the same jmw-mw weight range.can't wait for the potentially matchups that could be on deck for him.

This is the shot in the arm boxing needs. The JMW division is heating up and can only get more exciting with Kirkland in the mix.
Seems to me even before the weapons charge that he was getting his head on straight, just got caught @ the wrong time. I feel sorry for whatever bum they put him up against in his tuneup.
What happened to him on the undercard of the Khan-Maidana fight?

Ann Wolfe is all about guts and toughness, but what Kirkland really needs is someone who can fine tune him on the technical aspects of boxing. Kenny Adams is a far better trainer for that than Ann.

I didn't see Kirkland improving under Wolf. The determination he had was probably instilled in him already by his surroundings, though I admire Wolfe's intensity with her training.

I'm pulling for Kirkland, always have. But this is it. No more excuses, no more mistakes!

Good to see everyone behind Kirkland. This kid has loads of potential and almost pissed it all away. Here's hoping he stays outta trouble and in the boxing ring. Can't wait for him to fight again.

Exactly. The " just go train harder " coach's don't really do a lot for me either.

It's about identifying what Kirkland needs to adopt/develop to get him to the top level so he can compete against elite fighters, and about developing functional gameplan's for each of his opponents.

It's great to see him getting another chance.

Let's hope he's for real this time.
