Old Duran v young Benn

Stumbled across this sparring session on youtube from 1988. Duran is taking it easy, not throwing much, slipping and blocking a lot of Benn's shots. Both seem as if they are having a laugh. Duran uses a nice bit of footwork to make Benn do a 360.

he was taing the piss at times, hands down, chin out, giving Benn little pitty pat taps. Benn got of some good shots though, that was just a year after he turned pro.

A young Nigel Benn was very raw and uncontrolled in his attack - someone with the experience and ring smarts would have been able to break down that version of Nigel Benn.As long as you didn't use consistent movement against him,Duran was still a very capable boxer at 160 and below - even in his late 30's.

Nigel Benn was an ANIMAL!
Loved him, met him at my local night club before and he was sound as **** and modest about his fighting too.

Duran tho? What can u say, he was just unbeleivable
