An interesting thought by Naazim Richardson, the trainer for "Sugar" Shane Mosley. Going by the "he's the man who beat the man theory" - Richardson believes Floyd Mayweather Jr. will get an excuse to avoid a fight with Manny Pacquiao on May 7 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. That's the day Mosley will challenge Pacquiao for the WBO welterweight title. Richardson has full confidence in his boxer being able to beat Pacquiao. By doing so, Richardson predicts that Mayweather will walk away from any talk of facing Pacquiao.

There's no style on earth that's proven better than Mayweather's adaptive approach to boxing- especially Manny's mindless rapid fire style which relies on his opponents to have poor head movement, flat footedness, poor counterpunching skill, be old, be slow and be drained... traits of which Floyd possesses NONE.

I have much respect for ****m Richardson, but he did not train Mosley well at all. Even during the fight when Floyd was neutralizing ALL of Mosley's weapons, ****m kept telling Shane "You got to fire than jab Shane!" And every time Shane would jab- ****! PULL COUNTER! It's a lose-lose situation for Mayweather if Mosley beats Pacquiao.

He fights Pacquiao: He's just fighting him because Mosley beat him.

He doesn't fight Pacquiao: Nazeem was right.

At the end of the day, the "GOAT/FOTD" losing to some one at Mosley's stage after cherry picking him, is really pathetic. It's almost as pathetic as Margarito cherry picking Mosley and getting KTFO for it. He is so right that Floyd would play that **** to the hilt if Shane won. Floyd is so predictable anyone with a brain can see that coming a mile a way.

But he's completely wrong about Mosley's prospects. Mosley is going to lose badly here. Got no shot at all.
