I've liked Andrade since the amateurs. Definitely not ready for the big boys but he's being moved along nicely..

Herrera is not good but he is game. Seen him a few times his brother Mauricio is the one fighting Povednikov that actually might be a good one but Alberto is really raw

Why would HBO be ready for Andrade? He has faught absolute bums for 11 fights. He fights nobodys on espn 2, and every fight Teddy Atlas breaks down how these guys are nobodies and these fights make absolutely no sense in the development of his career. Its not like he is even fighting faded but experienced journeymen who are former title challengers. He fights bums! If HBO really has a boner for Andrade when names like Pirog and Martinez, and Dzinziruk are brought up this is just another reason HBO sucks.

Is HBO that desperate for American fighters? If they aren't how can they be ready for this guy but not ready for a fighter such as Pirog?

Amen to that brother. We've got Al Haymon to and Golden Boy to thank for this. HBO will be trying to give this guy a free ride to the top like they did with Jacobs and Berto just because they are affiliated with one of those two promotional companies. I hope this dude gets his shit pushed in regardless of who he fights because I'm sick of fighters getting the spot light when they don't deserve it. I've seen Demetrius Andrade fight, and I honestly think he sucks.

Pirog's management is holding him back. Hell Martinez has been looking for a fight for the last couple of weeks, why doesn't Pirog throw his hat into the right? Hell Paul Williams needs a fight after his loss to Martinez. He could challenge Cintron, Vanes, Cotto, Chavez, Pirog is the one who is quiet. Haven't heard a peep out of his camp since he beat Jacobs. Andrade is a prospect and will be brought along slowly like Pirog was don't hate.
