First of all, i am a Khan fan, 100% i love Amir khan and i have rooted for him in every single fight he has had thus far. However, i have also seen katsidis fight on many occasions, and this dude is a monster. Win or lose, katsidis will take you to hell and back before he falls down. Khan is looking to fight katsidis in his home coming fight in April according to skysports.com. If this fight takes place, im just worried that katsidis will stop khan without any problems.

i am not doubting Khands boxing ability, i was impressed with his victory over maindana, but Katsidis is better than maindana, a bigger katsidids (Light welter) is a stronger katsidis. I cant see Khan beating Katsidis if they fight. He will catch khan with a shot that will floor Khan.

Katsidis is not tough as Maidana. Katsidis would take many more shots and get stopped within the 6th.

Maidana plodded into Khan shots, which lessen the blows, Katsidis will literally jump into the shots.

JMM is slower than Khan, is smaller than Khan, has less power, but of course is skilled.

Katsidis has overrated power. He didn't even stop Juan Diaz.

Katsidis training wise is a beast, in a boxing ring, no he is not. He is not better than Maidana either.

Kats has abit more than a punchers chance but by a little. Needs to stay at 130-135 and get some titles. Unless he looking for a big pay day before retiring.

No way. He'd get outclassed and stopped. Kats is too one dimensional. JMM is much smaller than Khan. Kats would be at the end of Khan's jab all night and that would open up combos. Just an ugly fight for Kats.

Khan doesnt have a defence for ****, sure is quick and has good reflexes..but katsidis will catch him, HE ALWAYS catches his opponent at least once during the fight. That is all he will need in order for khan to get knocked out.

Good logic because of Khan's China chin and spotty defense and stamina. Khan will most likely get KTFO eventually (again) sooner or later. If it ain't Katsidis who does the honors, it will be some other puncher in the future.

I scoff at the idea of him even mentioning Pac as a possible opponent because of their sparring experience together...lol. In a real fight his china would get smashed to bits. So I agree that Katsidis would be a very dangerous fight for him but Khan's got balls for sure for taking him on.

Katsidis is not better than Maidana. How has he proved that? Name me one Katsidis performance that's better than Maidana's win over Ortiz or his close loss to Kotelnik? For all his guts and heart, in reality, Katsidis is little more than a b-class operator with decent power. His record just doesn't justify any greater level of opinion for him. Maidana would stop him.
