exactly, his defense isn't good enough yet to fight off of the ropes the way an ali, mayweather jr, toney, and even sweet pea can----he doesn't utilize the ropes well at all--

his upperbody movement isn't that stellar either--like a toney and floyd jr---manny could have been stopped had that been somebody else with more accuracy--hell, had that been the margarito who fought cotto, i believe he would have been at least dropped by it--but manny persevered as usual and showed his toughness and fought like a warrior and moved away too, which was obviously smart-lol

The title of the article is misleading. Coach Roach never said he never knew Pacquaio was hurt in Margarito bout. He did say he saw Pacquiao sink after being cornered but his boy never complain about being hurt.
