Why is it that whenever you see Pacquiao's fans (in videos, in arenas, at weigh-ins, etc) they are always short, pudgy , round-faced dweebs?

What makes this bout intriguing is that each man’s toughest fight came against an opponent that bore a stylistic resemblance to the other. In the case of Floyd Mayweather (38-0, 24 KO’s), that foe was Jose Luis Castillo. Like Hatton, Castillo is a strong, aggressive, in-your-face body-puncher, who likes to crowd his opposition. Castillo was very successful in making Mayweather uncomfortable along the ropes as he easily out-muscled Floyd and did enough body damage to arguably retain his lightweight title that night. Ricky Hatton’s (43-0, 31 KO’s) Mayweatheresque challenge came from Luis Collazo, a defending welterweight titlist at the time. After a very strong 1st round, Hatton looked befuddled and listless as Collazo fought him evenly on the inside and consistently beat him to the punch with his hand speed. Hatton registered the only knockdown and admirably fought back late to secure the win, but the fact is, Collazo landed the greater amount of clean, hard shots and visibly hurt Hatton two or three times en route to losing a disputed decision.

Clearly, Floyd Mayweather has struggled with a facsimile of Ricky Hatton and vice versa. But here’s the rub; Hatton’s bigger, stronger and much, much faster than Castillo with his hands and feet (Hatton even stopped Castillo in his last fight with a body shot). And Mayweather’s quicker, smarter, has better footwork and is much more skilled than Collazo. So something has to give; someone will no longer be “Undefeated”.

So in other words Pacquiao is really nothing as a boxer according to you? Yet every freaking thread you make is about him. Just goes to show the power of the Pacman. Haha. Great fighters such as Ali, SRL, Duran, Hagler, Hearns, Tyson, etc. Most of them are black, but I've never thought of their race. They simply made the sport so exciting to watch.
