I disagree. When you have an attitude like Floyd's, not everyone is going to love you. However, he got a ton of respect after shutting out Mosley then telling Manny to take the test in the interview. It was a huge victory for Floyd.
Then there was the talk of making the Pacquiao fight; Nothing happened. Floyd wasn't interested. Ellerbe tried to deny that talks even took place. Floyd wouldn't even address the fans/media of why he didn't want the fight this time. To this day he hasn't said anything about negotiating a fight with Manny. The only thing that's been said is by his father, who said he was scored for Floyd's life.
If Floyd didn't want the fight, he should have never come out of retirement. It wouldn't really be a discussion. But now, if he doesn't fight Pacquiao it will be the only things he's remembered for by most fans.
It's time to step up and silence his haters with the biggest fight in 10+ years.
