The only difference was Mosley hits harder and managed to momentarily wobble Money.

That said, all of that is irrelevant when it comes to who deserves a shot at Pac. JMM has gone on from the Mayweather loss and reestablished himself as an elite fighter. Mosley went on to embarrass himself against a C Class fighter. That, combined with the Pacquaio-Marquez history, is why JMM is more deserving. Mosley thinking he can beat JMM is irrelevant. And for the record, if JMM is able to handle Mosley's power, he dominates Sugar at this point.

BTW, I wish people would quit saying JMM is a joke above lightweight. We have a one fight resume to go on. And that one fight was against maybe the best fighter of his era. Its like if Pacquaio went up to middleweight and fought Maravilla at middleweight and was routed. Would it mean that Pac is incapable of beating lesser middleweights? I think not. Saying JMM is a joke above lightweight is just a way for the haters to **** on Mayweather's performance.
      amen!

I do agree with this... I just feel that 10 extra lbs. above their last fight benefits Pac alot more than JMM.

As of late Pac isn't using them. He picks the weights he wants to face the opponent. He has trouble keeping weight on at WW let alone JMW.

JWW is perfect as he is not a natural WW in the first place and JMM is a LW. Pac moves "down" (or maintains his weight) while JMM moves "up". Its meeting in the middle to give the majority of fans what they want.

I don't understand why it's a problem. Then again I didnt understand why he had no problem fighting De La Hoya at WW but demanded a catch for Cotto. Then again I didn't understand how you fight a career WW for a vacant JMW title at a catchweight either.

I don't care if Jmm or Mosley has earned the right to fight Pacquiao. I just want to see pac/jmm or pac/berto as a boxing fan. I just don't see any sense with the pac/mosley fight because of shane's showing in his last two fights. Simply put... not competitive. Boxing fans want to see competition. Sure Mosley is a live dog and a dangerous one even at his advance age, but berto or jmm is much more competitive in the eyes of the boxing fans.

I also understand where Pac camp is coming from... After many hard fights that entertained the world, they might need a little breather and a decent payday at the same time. Alright with me... but give us a good fight next time dudes.

Afterall, wasn't it Pac who said he fights for the fans?

              Just expressing a sentiment.

everybodys talkin about Berto and marquez fighting Pacquiao but me personally Mosley has a better chance at welterweight than any of them, after Mosley knocked out margarito he should have been next in line anyway.

you need to read the news and find out whats going on..marquez won't face soto because soto already has his fight scheduled for march, and not only for march but arum already said the winner of soto/antillon will fight winner of rios/acosta...marquez won't face any of these guys because they already have their fights scheduled,he can but maybe until the end of the year, maybe november, and thats a big maybe, those guys are with arum and marquez with goldenboy, who as of right now have problems

It would, yet Pac/Arum want the advantage over Mosley as for the past 2 years they have seen and know what to expect from him. If Mosley was as "dangerous" as they claim Pac wouldn't be fighting him as they already said "no" to him from 141-147 when he was a threat/#1 WW Champion/too good. Styles make fights... and at 140, JMM might not be as effective but at least JMM is still winning fights, the LW Champion and Top 5 P4P.

These "bigger" fighters they keep putting in front of Pac and keep reminding us that they are bigger doesn't mean anything as we keep reminding them that they're shot, coming of losses, suspensions and haven't won a fight in nearly 2 years. Clottey, Margarito (5'11) and Mosley.

If Pac wants to fight a "bigger" fighter, a 5'10 career JMW in Martinez wants his belt back that Pac is holding on to. If JMW is "too big", he can fight Berto the WBC WW Champion. If WW is "too big" than the LW Champion wants to meet him at JWW.

Bob Arum had an agenda. Mosley was picked before the Margarito match regardless if Mayweather was on vacation or not. Pac Mosley was going to happen because thats what Bob wanted from the start.

Pac vs JMM AT JWW is what we should be getting IMO. Saying that, Pac still beats him but its better than seeing Pac fight Mosley who we know gasses, gets tired and or sleepy, weak, shot, old, Mayweathered, destroyed etc etc etc. All the things we heard once Mayweather (the coward for not fighting Mosley and now Pac) beat him.
