Most boxers who fight at WW are middle weights who can still make it at 147.

in his last fight vs katsidis he was a welterweight on fight night. he had to cut weight and during fight week i saw jmm wearing hoodies to sweat off extra weight he weighed in at 134 and hydrated to 145 so on fight night he was a welterweight at most.. and this time he didnt mess with no weights like he did vs floyd which was a big mistake people need to understand this. what jmm did for that training camp was a big mistake with the weights as he lost speed vs a guy who was already faster then him. if he were to fight at welterweight or jr welter he'd do just fine (with the weight) now with the styles of the different fighters at those weight classes is a different story.Comment

- better than the boxers themselves.
- better trainers than Freddie and Sr./Roger.
- better announcers than Lampley and Kellerman.
- more knowledgeable than Steward and Foreman.
- better than some TV analysts who've been covering boxing for decades.
- lawyers.
- OST experts.
- corner men.
- counselors
- boxing promoters...
And most of all, the best posters on NSB are measured by bank points and green/red karma.Comment

Rehydrating to 145 is COMPLETELY, INCOMPARABLY different from weighing in at 145 or so. When Marquez had to WEIGH IN at 144, he came in at 142 and was pudgy, slow, had no power, and lacked the reflexes he needs to fight the way he does. Not to mention he can't handle a big puncher at welterweight without hitting the canvas a lot.Comment

Marquez needs to fight top dog in Jr. Welterweight or Welterweight. Berto is free, Clottey is Free, Khan is free, Ortiz is Free, Maidana is Free. Why he pick Morales? What a joke.Comment

It's no myth, against Floyd he couldn't even bring a punch higher that Floyd's shoulder,he usually weights in at 133 for a lightweight fight,he is too small for 147,he gets dropped by lightweights & he has no business above 135 period!!Comment
