the myth of jmm looking bad at weltwerweight

in his last fight vs katsidis he was a welterweight on fight night. he had to cut weight and during fight week i saw jmm wearing hoodies to sweat off extra weight he weighed in at 134 and hydrated to 145 so on fight night he was a welterweight at most.. and this time he didnt mess with no weights like he did vs floyd which was a big mistake people need to understand this. what jmm did for that training camp was a big mistake with the weights as he lost speed vs a guy who was already faster then him. if he were to fight at welterweight or jr welter he'd do just fine (with the weight) now with the styles of the different fighters at those weight classes is a different story.

Marquez can make big money if he beats welterweight fighter like Clottey and Mosley. Heck he would even makes big money if he beats Khan or Bradley. Marquez need to stop talking and just put the work in.

A career featherweight, who has failed to make the Lightweight limit TWO times in a row, clearly does not belong in the WW division.

I love JMM. A talented warrior, heart of a lion, skills of a master technician, and perennial FOTY candidate is an elite fighter......at his proper weight division.

JMM just doesn't belong above 135 lbs.

he dehydrated himself to make the weight ! he loses alil to much waterweight which is why he comes in under the 135 pound limit but hydrated up to 10 + pounds your putting the facts of his past thier but ignoring the whole topic about the weight.. for 1 everyone looks bad vs mayweather and weight lifting during training for 2-3 months is only gonna make things look worse.. that was the only fight he fought at welterweight so we cant say he looked bad at the weight based off 1 single fight.

let's see him actually fight at WW or jr WW first to prove he can fight there by beating someone who's name is not wifebeater.

thats what im saying amen ! lets see if he can prove it like lets not completely write him off because of that one night with mayweather. who was a stylistic nightmare for him.. beleive me ive never liked jmm till recently hes grabbed my interest i always hates his defense.. i never liked the look of a counterpuncher with bad defense but for him it makes up for exciting fights (despite the floyd fight in which he looked like garbage)

You're not exactly wrong but keep in mind this is a twilight-of-his-career marquez

yes so wouldnt it be easier to fight closer to your walk around weight? like amir khan for instance moving up to 140 he didnt have to dehydrate himself.. i think at this age if jmm doesnt have to dehydrate himself so much he'd do even better.

i know its at the twilight but when your ageing its not good to cut to much weight the less weight to cut during camp the better.
