Hopkins for the reason you just said.

Hopkins will fight from the outside with his superior footwork. Toney was never good with movers.

B-Hop was much more versatile Toney was much more talented. I think B-Hop just stay on the outside and miss jabs all day but win rounds just by throwing more. Then in the 2nd half Toney would try and be the aggressor and B-Hop would stuff him on the inside. But if B-Hop tries to go inside early he'll get phucked up

Who wins in sheet talking contest? Of course I'm talking about Toney in the 90's, nowadays nobody understands thing he says. Would be awesome to see the press conference between two of them

ah man, two of my favorite fighters, i'd have to go with hopkins, because he made more adjustments in his fights, and wouldn't play to toney's strengths.

toney would get guys to fight his fight, and hopkins the same, only thing is, toney plodded along and hopkins would use his footwork and angles to take away toney's plan to lure his opponent in for some toe the line type fighting.

i'd be a great fight, i'd love to see it, and really it could go either way with them both in their primes, i'd just give the edge to hopkins because of his versatility and his ability to take his opponents best assets away during a fight.
