This would be a good fight and should happen.

Kahn's recklessness gets countered. And his chin gets cracked. I see a Hopkins-Pavlik outcome, sorry.

It should be Berto vs Marquez because both of them wants to fight Pacman!

          i see it differently.

i see khan boxing off his back foot throwing combinations using his reach to keep Marquez at bay.

Marquez is a natural counter puncher. he can also be first but i think khans height, reach, and speed will make it very difficult for Marquez to get off first and it will also be difficult for Marquez to counter because the reach and speed disadvantage.

i see a decision win in khans favor if the fight is made but of course I will be rooting for Marquez all the way if the fight ever comes off

berto should fight welterweights and leave the jr welters and lightweights alone

I don't like the size/style match up for Marquez especially with the age difference... I still think Marquez can hurt Khan occasionally though with precise counters, but don't think it will be enough to deal with Khan's quick offensive bursts.

Honestly JMM would probably make more from this fight than he would with Morales if you think about it with HBO money. HBO would probably pay more for JMM khan.

I'm a big fan of JMM, but in May he clearly didn't want this fight. Not sure if he wants it now either. I think it'd be a great fight though

You mean the same Berto that got whooped by Collazo? The same one that struggled with Steve Forbes?

Marquez would stomp the **** out of Andre Berto.

                    To the thread topic,

JMM would more than likely stop Amir Khan. It would be a great fight however long it lasts but JMM is the more intelligent, experienced boxer.

I think Khan is a fantastic boxer, he could have some success early in the fight but Marquez would adjust and probably KO Khan with a beautifully timed punch somewhere around the 6th or 7th round. I don't see it going much later.

JMM and Nacho said they didn't want to be a stepping stone for Khan's career, which to me translates as them acknowledging that Khan would probably beat JMM and send him to retirement.
