Yeah..I was thinking about it earlier and other than JMM I can't really think of anybody else.. I think right now in boxing most wanna be pure boxers like counter punching, defense 1st etc.

          Presently:

          1. Manny P.

Back in the day: (in no direct order)

          1. Meldric Taylor
          2. Shane Mosley
          3. Felix Trinidad
          4. SRL
          5. Ray Mancini
          6. Aaron Pryor
          7. Roberto Duran
          8. Wilfredo Gomez
          9. Diego Corrales
          10. SRR

Mind you these are just some of “MY” random favorite fighters who put combo’s together in effective fashion there are so many more that are worthy of mention.

Textbook wise it's Marquez but overall It's Pacquiao.

I mean it's not so much the speed and power, but the ability to adjust his combinations, in the middle of throwing them, according to his opponents openings that makes me give the edge to Manny.

With Marquez he will throw something like a left, right, then finish with off with his trademark uppercut.

Manny on the other hand with just adjust **** on the fly and to me that's more impressive.

Pac is right there on top of the hill when it comes to combos.

              Jmm is not far behind.

Floyd during his heydays was a beauty to behold.

              Just My opinion

Not to mention the angles Manny threw his punches from it becomes very hard for his opponents to adjust from a barrage of punches that come from his unconventional stance.

Well he is able to do thatbecause of his speed, I see him throw flurries and on to the next one. Jmm you see him working it out, like it's premeditated. Everything he's doing is going toward a bigger purpose. Don't really see that with Manny. Don't get me wrong mannys got crazy combos but id say that's more a result of his physical advantages than actual technique

I think those are the worst fighters to go against.

I also notice that Manny doesn't allow his opponents to reset their defense, often hitting them before they can get their hand back into a defensive position.

well, you said best.....meaning you have to count everything else behind it....like speed and the power of each punch p4p which in that department, pac stomps on jmm......but if you say who's got the best technique in throwing combos then jmm stomps pac's no doubt!
