thats the popular line right now but fact is at the time people thought Hatton was a dangerous opponent for Floyd at 147 and other then Cotto he fought the best guy available at the time

Hatton at 147? Not in my books. You need to go by history and a few other factors. He had a very average fight at 147 then went back down to 140 and won a couple of fights. Floyd called him back up to 147.

Hatton was a career 140 fighter. Some fighters are only good at certain weights. Hatton couldn't do the things he wanted to against a 147lb. At least, not effectively.
