Two Scenarios to think about on May 7

Maybe Shane Mosley is a washed-up fighter then again maybe not. Two scenarios I would like to bring up. One favoring Manny the other favoring Shane. The one favoring Manny is Mike Tyson vs Larry Holmes. I didn't know to much about this fight at the time after all I wasn't even 8 yet. All I heard that Larry Holmes stopped Muhummad Ali and had held the heavyweight championship for years and would be Tyson's stiffest test. When they got into the ring he didn't want to engage Tyson. When he did got knocked in the sixth round that was in 1988. I still remember getting in fights at recess and every time you would hear "I fight like Mike Tyson!" "No! I fight like Mike Tyson!" Fast forward now to 2010 during the super six on Showtime. When they added Glen Johnson to the tournament. I thought "Wow, Dibella really learning to recycle this guys old as hell! On top of all that they want him to drain down to 168 where he hasn't competed since 2000. I figured Green would win because of the weight drain. Johnson surprised me that he had some good side to side head movement. Didn't appear weight drained and got the knockout while eating Green punches like candy. He's had more matches than anyone that competes on national television too. Stopped only once 66 matches not bad. Shane Mosley hasn't been stopped at all and he's younger than Glen Johnson. I don't think that Bill Dwyer's prediction for Pac-Mosley is that far off. If anybody's getting knocked out it won't be Shane Mosley.

I'm just hoping Soto-Antillon 2 is put on the undercard. That's worth my PPV money.

I would give Shane a good chance if he could fight for more than 2 rounds. I don't understand what the h ell happened to his endurance.

I also don't see Mosley being stopped, and I'm curious to see how Pacquiao reacts when/if Shane connects big especially with an overhand right.

1-pacquiao wins by a ko inside 4 rounds.
2-pacquiao wins by a wide UD, and 50minutes later mosley dies from heavy internal bleedings.

i think in the floyd fight his inactivity hurt his performance.

and he really didnt let go enough,he had floyd hurt but was still too controlled, should have just let it all go and take floyds head off.

after the 2nd he just stopped doing what won him the first 2 rounds and looked awful.

but still, losing to floyd does not mean you are shot, and losing to pac does not mean you are past it.

the mora fight was shane being ****** but comendable in fighting a style that bothered him to prove to himself that he can beat guys with that style.

i think pac will land a lot,and shane wont be able to deal with pacs movement and combinations.

the thing is shanes chin is solid, pac may win by tko, they may have to stop shane if he gets caught with too many head snapping punches.

Everyone on the boxing forum need's to give this a serious viewLOL. This might make you some money come fight time. After all I do believe that Shane Mosley was an Olympic alternate so he has that amateur pedigree. If he says he planning on boxing you do take it serious.
