By numbing your hands, Floyd was able to do something he couldn't otherwise. First, he felt no/less pain. Secondly because he felt no/less pain, he was able to hit harder than he otherwise was capable of.
That to me is drugs that enhanced his performance.
If he took the drugs during training, that to me would be fine BUT NOT JUST BEFORE THE FIGHT. Going by Floyd's own statement, it gave Floyd an advantage that he would otherwise not have!!! Get the difference?
Look at what you wrote please. See all those numbers, 7, 14, 24, 30 days cut-off. That meant it was a negotiation on something that usually does NOT HAPPEN in PRO-Boxing. They were not going over how the Olympics usually do it. Are you with me? Floyd and his team just accused Manny of taking PEDs. I was surprised Manny even wanted to fight after that.
BUT you conveniently by-passed that Manny now wants 7 days and that happened with NO NEGOTIATING and even said he would fight BETWEEN rounds if that is what it takes to get Floyd out of his long vacation. REMEMBER THAT?
With Manny statement of going down to 7 and from the other statement of even going down to zero, Manny made a big serious effort, as far as PEDs testing is concerned, WITHOUT NEGOTIATING. With that said, the ball was in Floyd's court.
don't try to turn it the other way because it's Floyd that is vacationing and refusing to fight in 2010.
