Comments Thread For: Shane Mosley Lays Down The Plan To Outbox Pacquiao

"Sugar" Shane Mosley is laying down a different strategy for his May 7 showdown with WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao. He doesn't plan to make it a war by going after Pacquiao. Instead, Mosley tells Ring Magazine that he plans to use his reach and boxing ability.

shane's punch drunk. he wasn't pressuring wifebeater. wifebeater was pressuring him!

wifebeater wasn't outboxing or out countering mosley, wifebeater just beat his ass. he just used his speed whacked mosley at will.

honestly this is pretty sad. mosley is gonna pull a clottey and try and last 12 rounds.

and that could happen. floyd has a better defense and a better chin than pacman. even margarito that chump got some big shots hin vs pacman, had him in the ropes struggling a little. mosley could easily knock pacman out if he shows up at 110% and if he brings everything hes got left. if he just shows up a little under 100% pac is gonna rip him apart either by ko or unanimous ****

Outboxing Pac isn't all that hard since Pac is a shitty boxer.

Probably the safer route for him anyway since he's not gonna win exchanges. The problem with this of course is that Mosley's a shitty boxer himself so his best bet is to wing right hands.

Uh ok his plan is this: Pac gets hit with a lot of uppercuts, so I'm going to throw a lot of uppercuts.

              THE END.

The comments that I'm reading here aren't as negative as I'm used to hearing about this fight. In other words, I see a lot of people actually giving Shane a chance. (Let's call it a puncher's chance)

Shane will be able to throw his left hook in this fight, which is something he couldn't do against Mayweather. Shane will have his overhand right and looping left hook to give him a puncher's chance.

If Shane will be able to let his hands go, which is a possibility, than this will be a very interesting action fight.

As you can see, I'm biased toward Mosley. I guess I have high hopes for him to put it all out there for one more night.
