    Breakthrough fighters of 2011

Who are the prospects or even contenders to watch in 2011?

Im thinking this year Luis Garcia is really gonna start making some noise at SMW and i dont see James De Gale far behind

David Lemieux has SO ready for the top guys right now, This guy is Dynamite!

Saul Alvarez i guess is already making a big name but i think this year coming he will get some names on that resume

El Leon is fighting at Light Heavy now ^, looks like he'll be staying there as well.

Looking for Mike Perez and Alexei Acosta to make some impact in the new year too.

So he is, I watched his last fight vs Byron Mitchell too! duh

Looks strong at the weight but also looked like he could still do SMW easy, slightly soft look to him. Was he having weight making troubles?

Well LHW is a weaker division so he will make even more of an impact, tho guys like Ward will be moving up some day in the not so distant future

Still havent seen Acosta fight yet but Glen said when he first got them over he was the most impressive.

Not sold on Perez, he will do well but i cant see him being a real champ. Solis has a shot against Vitali tho, i got Vitali as fav but not by nearly as much as most

Garcia is the most impressive of the 3 imo, I used to be big on Acosta but in his last few fights he hasn't looked himself to be honest, think he has quite weak / brittle hands, he used to be a very good body puncher, good straight clean punches every one looking to knock the opponent out, but in his last 3 or so fights he started slapping with his punches until he opens the them up and he's just lacking something that I can't put my finger on.

I like Perez and want to do something, always in great shape though, has that awkward awkward style and just looks great at 220 I'm just worried if he's too small though.

He was only at 168 for his first fight in 2008 and has weighed in at 175, don't think he was having much trouble making weight but he's clearly more comfortable at 175 and still looks lean.
