    WBC silver junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez wants to become a big player by the end of 2011. To do this, he knows that he has to take a risk against a top name in the sport. Two of the names he's thrown out there are Shane Mosley and Miguel Cotto, the WBA champion at 154. Currently Golden Boy Promotions is trying to finalize the details for Canelo's next fight on March 5.

              Cotto would be a harder fight for Canelo than Mosely, IMO he can beat Mosely easily but It will be hard for him to beat Cotto, He might be too young and inexperienced still!! Maybe Cotto in 2012

                          He should use Mosley as a stepping stone then go after Cotto everybody would be talking about Canelo after that

                                  Lol man that kid ain't ready for the big boys yet .. cottos brother came up from lightweight and had him hurt .. shane and miguel right now would make him submit .. too young too inexperience,no need for a career suicide just. Yet, just keep beating the washed up bums u been fighting

                                      old or washed up fighter like margarito mosley or cotto have done wonders for pacroid , so ye s canelo should go that route obviousley it works.
