Even though he's critisized a lot Al Haymon gave us some great fights this year ...

He was willing to do something that Bob Arum hasn't done and put his fighters up against top competition, even losing in the process.

    Bika vs Andre Ward
    P. Williams vs Sergio Martinez (Twice)
    Daniel Jacobs vs Dimitri Pirog
Mayweather vs Mosley (Top welterweight at the time)
Dirrell vs Abraham (Also to add to this, tell me what Top Rank fighter is in the Super Six Bantamweight tourney)

So credit goes to where it's deserved. Top work and hopefully his fighters who suffered losses bounce back in 2011.

      **** haymon. he's responsible for fights like berto/fernandez. **** that b!tch.

      Bika vs Andre Ward
bika was lucky to get the fight

      P. Williams vs Sergio Martinez (Twice)
HBO forced pwill to take these fights.

      Daniel Jacobs vs Dimitri Pirog
pirog wasn't supposed to win. they didn't see him as a threat. if they did, i doubt pirog would've gotten the fight.

Mayweather vs Mosley (Top welterweight at the time)
mosley coming off a long layoff

Dirrell vs Abraham (Also to add to this, tell me what Top Rank fighter is in the Super Six Bantamweight tourney)
dirrell b!tched out of the tourny

expect his fighters to take tune ups and mismatches.

        yes and no.

Let's not forget that the Williams/Martinez rematch was really made by HBO, it was pretty much forced by HBO to happen. Williams didn't really want the rematch and tried to go another direction but HBO refused to pay for any other williams fight other than Martinez. Likewise for Martinez. So all the credit goes to HBO for forcing that fight to happen. Williams and Haymon had little choice in the matter.

We also got Andre Berto vs Hernandez. Thanks!

Daniel Jacobs vs Dimitri Pirog was great for us fans but a colossal mistake on their part underestimating an unknown opponent. Now, how much was this Al Haymon compared to Golden Boy? I don't know. This may have simply been Haymon looking at an opportunity to get Jacobs a title and the matchmakers didn't realize who he was up against.

I'm with Pull on this one. Haymon can eat a ****. This is a ****** ass thread. Lol. All of his fighters are busts except for maybe Berto because he hasn't fought anybody. And how could anybody praise Dirrel? That really beats the fuck outta me.

Haymon can't even cover up for his client and friend Floyd jr..... Media is chastising him, fans calling him a coward... Haymon knows the real story and won't say it. Even if the truth hurts Floyd he can at least make something up like Ellerbe did by saying there were no such negotiations.
