Cotto wasnt even at WW when Mayweather fought Baldo & Judah einstein..

Just because someone has an alphabet title or alphabet ranking means d*ck! Crappy Baldomir beat Judah and Floyd Jr. fought Judah first, who never won a big fight. Then he fought Baldomir and after that, he was offered both Cotto and Margarito and he turned both down. Those are the facts...

Because he was afraid of losing. Though i see him as a chicken in that decsion it benefited him cause if he would have been hammered with plasterd wraps for 12 rounds he would have become a miguel cotto.

Hatton had only one welterweight fight won the WBA welterweight title belt when he beat Collazo but he looked like crap and deserve to lose that fight. Then he vacated the title went back down to junior welterweight and fought two more fights before moving up again to fight Mayweather. So, Hatton was not a welterweight champ when he fought Mayweather...

And after Hatton lost to Mayweather, he said that the 147 lbs was way too much and he felt way better fighting at 140 lbs, which is/was his best weight and undefeated at that weight. Not only did Pacquiao beat Hatton at his best weight, he obliterated him. Before spouting off, you need to get your facts straight...

So, you are saying because Hatton was fighting his fight (the only way he knows how to fight) and smothered Mayweather that he was in great shape? Are you kidding me, he was gassed out after the 8th round. And not only that, when a fighter starts lunging, it's because they are tired, which is why Hatton got KO'd. He lunged, missed and got cracked.

And, BTW, what the f**k are they going to say about the weight in the buildup to the PPV. Is Hatton really gonna admit to the weight affecting him. Yeah, that would do great for PPV sales. He did what he had to do to help build the fight but afterward it was apparent to anyone who doesn't have their head in their ass that Hatton didn't belong at 147 lbs. Essentially, he lost both fights there (Collazo won regardless of what anyone says)...

Alphabet title?....ummmm Zab Judah is the LAST undisputed WW champ...he actually got in the ring and beat the UNDISPUTED CHAMPION....

Marquez and Manny come from the same weight class, hell even floyd came from that weight class. And the fact that you dwell on Marquez being so small, your saying that a man that small couldnt compete at 147 because he was too small. But when floyd says Manny is on PEDS to compete at 147 in such fashion, you get mad. Marquez came up from 135 to 144 to face floyd and ever bashed floyd. But Manny came up from 135 to 147 to face oscar who was weighing 160ish. No one complained about that with Oscar, hell they wanted to see that fight, they called it THE DREAM FIGHT. But because floyd did it, oh its wrong. And because Floyd won , he was picking on a little guy...out of 41 fights all u can name is Marquez as being small. Just these last 2 years i can name about 5 catch weights with Manny...

Martinez he wanted at 147 (hes a middle weight lol)
Cotto (145)
Marquez he wanted at 147
Mosley he originally wanted at 142
Margarito catch weight of 150

and the list goes on in on..

No one say it's wrong for Floyd to call out Marquez in a catchweight. What's wrong there is outweighing poor Marquez by 2 pounds.

When Floyd won and dominated Marquez, most of the sports writer and boxing analyst criticized Floyd and much more with from boxing fans especially non-Floydfans. And you know why.......

About Pac-DLH, Do you think if Dela Hoya won that fight, he will not be criticized? Dela Hoya will receive the same bashing like Floyd from the boxing world if he won. The difference with Floyd and DLH, Floyd won to Marquez but DLH lose to Pac. And of course, crystal clear Floyd cherrypicked Marquez as well DLH cherrypicked Pac.

Martinez 147 -- You think Martinez is a dumb? Roach said 147, means a big NO and it will not happen. Don't be slow.

Cotto 145 -- even they fight at 147 Pac will still outbox Cotto. Anyway, I agreed it is a catchweight.

Marquez 147 -- It is not happening yet and it is already in your list? LMAO. You hate so much son. Anyway, I dont agree with that 147, the best weight should be at 140.

Mosley 142 -- I guess this is exaggeration. If it is not official then dont mislead an information. Just to refresh you, Mosley was the one who was so vocal and desperate that he will go down to 140-142 just to fight Pac.

Margarito 150 -- truth is, Margarito benefited on that. Pac came 144.5 and Marga exactly 150. And on fight night, Marga was 17 pound weight advantage over Pac. I agreed it is catchweight.

So officially, how many catchweight?

Tom Gerbasi is one of the best writers out there. I respect his opinion, actually I sat down with him cool guy... Here's my problem with the article. First off the disrespect to Roy Jones....Who didn't Roy fight? Darius M? Can't fight them all and Hopkins nor Toney fought Darius....


As for Floyd I'm disappointed that Floyd didn't fight Pac man but to act as if his career is a disappointment is disrespectful.....The man is the best and undefeated and has fought at a World Championship level since his second year as a pro.

I can't help but feel that when you are so supremely gifted that there are people who want you to fail so bad that they discredit all of your accomplishments...People often talk about the Castillo fight....but neglect to remind everyone that Floyd rematched him right away and proved who the better fighter is.....If Floyd is so afraid to lose why would he fight the guy that gave him his toughest fight....also in the fight when the fight was getting away from him did Floyd panic because he was experiencing the first tumult in his career...no he still fought the relaxed type that he always does.....

We see many fighters be upset along the way...get knocked down....get knocked out.....get out box etc...this guy has managed to stay off his ass, to hit his opponents with a high percentage of shots while avoided real damage IN THE RING....Respect is due to this man.....I know these forums are filled with dudes who hate and will continue to hate but Floyd is not the Great Disappointment he is in an all time great..........

I grew up in the Clay/Ali era and he did what this writer said he did, he backed up his mouth and by the way Ali wasn't vile , he fought all comers,,,,Too long imo.

You're implying that PBF was scared to fight Cotto and Margarito

It's common knowledge that Arum offered PBF 8 million for Margarito and PBF wanted 10 Million... Arum said no... Did he deserve it??? That's a totally different question.

..and as for Cotto...Arum turned him down.

by the time Cotto was acting like he was ready to fight, PBF was knee deep in cash money fights ODLH and Hatton... There isn't one boxer who would have passed up an opportunity to fight ODLH or Hatton at their peak.

Mosely used to be on the ducked PBF list, that was until PBF fought him and he all of a sudden became old and unworthy but after losing to PBF fighting to a draw with Mora( You got to be kidding me) he's mysteriously regained his mojo and is ready for Pac.

I enjoy Pac's fights but this is no more than a money fight with the him ultimatley fighting the winner of the Cotto vs Margarito rematch at a full fledged 154 (maybe, it might be at 152 or 153, sorry I couldn't resist)
