Pretty much. The boxing world is excited that the Klitschkos might have a charismatic champion who has a decent chance of defeating one of them and re-awakening the division.

UK boxing fans know when it's two world level fighters in the ring but a high profile all British mismatch will bring interest regardless, just like Hopkins/Jones did for Americans.

i'll only agree if the fight ever goes down.

But if Haye ends up retiring without fighting wlad or vitali, then it was all pointless cowardly garbage.

That wasnt a superfight, had only a few thousand in attendence and didnt do well in PPV

Both are also the 2 best of the last 2 decades, Harrison isnt even mediocre

No, but he is an Olympic gold medallist and reasonably well known celebrity which carried a lot of weight with casual fans (i.e. the ones who buy the fight).

There have been some great all-Brit clashes over the years but sadly not many top class meetings for some time, the best British fighters prefer to fight foreign opponents for various reasons (mostly financial).

Because there are no other great fighters in their division

Him winning a Gold medal 20 years ago doesnt make it a superfight, especially when he should have been retired

Come now, there were a number of very marketable fights over the years that never happened. Calzaghe v Froch, Hatton v Witter are two that come to mind, Khan v Hatton another. Prior to those there were some great fights in the Benn/Eubank/Collins/Watson era.

Him winning a Gold medal 20 years ago doesnt make it a superfight, especially when he should have been retired
I wasn't saying it was a superfight, just that it would get the interest of the general public.

What Haye did was essentially the same thing that Charlie Zelenoff did.

He talked himself into being popular. He talked himself into a publicized fight that he had done nothing to warrant.

Now all that's left is for Haye to self humiliate by going out like a p*ssy against Wlad.
