Only way I see manny fighting backwards is if he gets hurt or the opponent I'd hitting him cleanly where as he can't see the punches. And even then he might not do it. Dude has to much pride in him(which is good and bad).

That first knockdown was the result of Manny anticipating the left hook of Hatton. Again please, take a good look at the video. Pac was moving sideways when hatton ****ed his left to deliver a hook, but Manny unleashed a blinding right hook himself that landed first. Very fast hands. The point however is pac was moving sideways before he delivered that punch.

You must be referring to the 2nd knockout when you say Pac delivered a punch while not looking. It does seem so if that is the case. Pac unleashed that final sweet left overhand that appeared like he was't looking. It is called anticipation, sir. But that is already out of the topic being discuss in this thread.

      • Pac's foot-'work' are just moves that prevent him from falling down. *******s just can't see the difference.

This is why Marquez cuts his workrate by more than half when they fight and makes him look like a confused gun shy ****.

This is also why they want nothing to do with Fraud, Martinez or Marquez.

This is why they're gonna fight a cement footed, old and shot Mosley.
            1.Marquez has no footwork.

            2. Explain me how Pacquiao ducks a fighter he fought twice, a fighter on vacation, and a fighter fighting two divisions above???

he's fought about 6 straight similar fights where he knows he has all distance/range to work with. He can make mistakes and look good doing it because 1) his opponents are stationary and arent doing jack 2) the announcers riding his sack every minute 3) he just wildy flurries which does look good against slow fighters
He didn't fight the same opponents, Hatton has speed,Clottey has decent speed, Cotto isn't a stationnary fighter, Margo is tall and has a very high workrate.

Sure Manny didn't fight a counterpuncher, or a slick fighter in his last 6 fights, but to say Cotto,Clottey,Margo and Hatton are the same fighters is just ******ed.

You are just a blind hater.

your right about that but outside of cotto all of them were there to get hit all night manny never had to look for any of them he could of just threw punches and landed because they were right in front of him

                    • His footwork is damn good but it seems some people are just equating footwork with just evading punches.

Pac's superb footwork is seen when he is turning people and looking seemingly off balance but then to throw a power punch. He used it for offense. His evasive maneuvers are good but not on par with the mayweather, calderon, bhop ... but imo, vise versa , they are not on the same level of pac when it comes to the offensive end.
